Orestiadi Foundation

In Sicily, bridge of Europe with Africa, are still visible and alive intact traces of its distant past that is common to all the peoples of the Mediterranean. The similarities between the signs and forms that can be found in Mediterranean artistic heritage reveal the existence of the common cultural matrix that it is woven from prehistoric times through the migration of populations from the Middle East, Greece and South Africa.
